Buyer FAQ

Clear answers before you invest in sampling.

The questions activewear buyers ask about our operating model, production partners, products, MOQ, sampling, OEM, ODM, quality and delivery.
01

What activewear products can SEAMDANCE develop and manage?

SEAMDANCE develops and coordinates production for B2B yoga wear, Pilates apparel, yoga leggings, seamless leggings, sports bras, gym wear, workout sets, training tops, compression garments, athleisure wear and active-casual layers through selected specialist production partners.

02

Is SEAMDANCE a factory or a trading company?

SEAMDANCE is a China-based export trading and supply chain management company. We do not present one factory as suitable for every product. We coordinate independent specialist production partners for materials, seamless knitting, cut-and-sew garments, branding, quality control, packing and delivery through one accountable project team. Founded in 2018, SEAMDANCE has delivered more than 5,000 programs to buyers in over 100 countries.

03

Do you offer private label activewear with a customized logo?

Yes. A private label program can include a custom or customized logo, heat transfer, embroidery, woven labels, care labels, hangtags, packaging, custom colors, trims and other brand-specific details after technical review.

04

What is the difference between OEM and ODM activewear manufacturing?

OEM production begins with the buyer’s design, tech pack or approved specification. ODM development begins with a product direction and adds material, construction and collection-development support before the most suitable production route is assigned.

05

Can you make seamless yoga leggings and seamless sports bras?

Yes. We can coordinate seamless development with production partners that map rib structures, compression, ventilation and support zones into leggings, sports bras, tops and sets. Cut-and-sew partners are selected when the design needs panels, bindings or specific seam placement.

06

Can you develop Pilates clothing and athleisure collections?

Yes. Pilates sets, studio layers and athleisure collections can be developed around soft hand feel, four-way stretch, recovery, coverage and coordinated colors for studio, travel and everyday use.

07

How does custom activewear sampling work?

The process normally moves from brief review and material direction to production-partner selection, pattern or seamless-program development, prototype sampling, fit and construction review, color and trim approval, a sealed reference and then confirmed bulk production. Stock-program samples ship in 3–4 days; custom first samples are normally ready in 7.

08

What is the MOQ for private label activewear?

Stock programs start at 100 pieces with mixed colors and sizes through our consolidation capability. Fully custom development normally starts at 300–500 pieces per style depending on construction and fabric. Exact quantities are confirmed at quotation — returned within 24 hours.

09

How fast are samples and quotations?

Quotations are returned within 24 hours. Stock-program samples ship in 3–4 days. Custom first samples are normally managed in 7 days depending on fabric availability. Final inspection before shipment is to AQL 2.5 by our own QC team, and on-time delivery across the partner network runs at 98%.

10

Can you consolidate swimwear, bags and yoga accessories with activewear?

Yes. SEAMDANCE consolidates multi-category programs — men’s and women’s activewear, swimwear, sports bags, yoga mats and studio accessories — through category-specialist partners, then combines them into mixed shipments under one quality standard and one delivery plan.

11

What certifications can SEAMDANCE support?

Certifications such as OEKO-TEX®, GRS and BSCI are held by the partner facilities we match to each project. We select partners against the buyer’s market requirement and share facility-specific certificates per project — we do not present partner certificates as our own.

12

Where is SEAMDANCE based and who do you work with?

SEAMDANCE is an export trading and supply chain management company based in Xiamen, China, founded in 2018. The managed network covers seamless knitting, cut-and-sew, dye houses, trims and fabric mills, and has delivered 5,000+ programs to buyers in more than 100 countries.

13

How do you select a production partner for each product?

We review the product category, construction route, machinery, material availability, order quantity, target cost, market requirements and facility-specific compliance documents before proposing a production route. Final feasibility, MOQ, lead time and certification scope are confirmed for the selected facility.

14

How do you manage quality across different factories?

One project standard follows the order across facilities. Materials, measurements, color, logo, workmanship and packaging are approved before bulk production, then monitored through milestone tracking, in-line checks and AQL 2.5 final inspection against the sealed reference by our own QC team. On-time delivery across the partner network runs at 98%.

15

Can you support startup labels and established sportswear brands?

SEAMDANCE supports independent labels, retailers and established sportswear brands. Stock programs from 100 pieces give new labels a low-risk start, while custom development normally begins at 300–500 pieces per style. Price, development route and lead time are confirmed after reviewing the product, customization and delivery requirements.
